Clinic Services Overview

In support of the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs in Speech-Language Pathology, UAGM, Gurabo Campus, is proud to offer specialized services in the assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders and delays, as well as offering intervention services. These services strengthen all academic programs, positioning the clinic as a welcoming center for students, research, academic work, and community service.

MSLP program overview

Nutrition plays a vital role in health and disease. There is growing evidence of the role of diet in the prevention, development and treatment of major diseases. To maximize one’s health requires that professionals have a strong understanding of nutrition. The Licentiate in Nutrition and Dietetics (LND) and the Registered Dietitian (RD) credentials are the Puerto Rico and the national recognized credentials in nutrition-dietetics, respectively. About the MSLP program

Vision

To be the first academic choice for students wanting to become Speech Language Pathologists who can provide communication and swallowing services to a variety of populations across the lifespan, by providing a flexible academically strong program emphasizing the integration of clinical application and evidence-based knowledge.

La Comisión de Acreditación de CSWE es responsable de desarrollar estándares de acreditación que definen la preparación competente y asegurar que los programas de trabajo social cumplan con estos estándares. De acuerdo con los requisitos del Consejo para la Acreditación de la Educación Superior (CHEA por sus siglas en inglés, organismo de reconocimiento de CSWE, la Oficina de Acreditación de Trabajo Social de CSWE administra un proceso de acreditación de varios pasos que incluye auto-estudios de programas, visitas de campo y revisiones de la Comisión.
